Pilgrim passing – Pilgrim Reggie Olney

My Brothers All:

It is with much sadness that I advise you on the passing of Pilgrim Reggie Olney who passed away on 2/10/26. He was a member of Orland Lodge #1901, Moose Legion #0172 and received his pilgrim degree on 5/31/1997. During his Moose career he served in a variety of positions in his lodge, Moose Legion and was a Past President of the California Nevada Moose Association. He will be missed by all of those who knew and worked with him.
There are no planned memorial services at this time. We will send out an updated notice when information is received from the family and the lodge. A Celebration of Life for Pilgrim Reggie Onley is now planned to be held at the Orland Fairground Cafeteria. The event will be held on Saturday, February 28th at 2PM.

Pilgrim passing – Pilgrim Jim Glasgow

It is with much sadness that I advise you on the passing of Pilgrim Jim Glasgow who passed away. He was a member of Fresno Lodge #546, Moose Legion #0176 and received his pilgrim degree on 5/26/2001. During his Moose career he served in a variety of positions in his lodge, Moose Legion and the California Nevada Moose Association. He will be missed by all of those who knew and worked with him.

It is with much sadness that I advise you on the passing of Pilgrim Robert Sypnieski who passed away on 12/19/2025. He was a member of Auburn Lodge #2064, Moose Legion #0190 and received his pilgrim degree on 6/1/1996. During his Moose career he served in a variety of positions in his lodge, Moose Legion and the California Nevada Moose Association. He will be missed by all of those who knew and worked with him.

A Celebration of Life for Robert Sypniesky will be held on January 31, 2025 at the St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church at 11:00 AM (11600 Atwood Rd. Auburn CA. 95603) Reception to Follow at the Hall across from the Church.

Pilgrim passing – Pilgrim Chris Lubber

My Brothers All:

It is with much sadness that I advise you on the passing of Pilgrim Chris Lubbers who passed away on 11/19/2025. He was a member of Fresno Lodge #445, Moose Legion #0174 and received his pilgrim degree on 6/3/2017. During his Moose career he served in a variety of positions in his lodge, Moose Legion and the California Nevada Moose Association. He will be missed by all of those who knew and worked with him.

A Celebration of Life for Chris Lubber is now planned to be held at the Fresno Moose Lodge #445. The event will be held on February 21st at 11:00AM. Followed by a private service for the family.

He was a member of Fairfield Lodge #0861, Moose Legion #0207 and received his pilgrim degree on 6/4/2016. During his Moose career he served in a variety of positions in his lodge, Moose Legion and the California Nevada Moose Association. He will be missed by all of those who knew and worked with him.

It is with much sadness that I advise you on the passing of Pilgrim Paul Whittemore who passed away on July 17, 2025. He was a member of Burbank Lodge #652, Moose Legion #0185 and received his pilgrim degree on 5/23/1992. During his Moose career he served in a variety of positions in his lodge, Moose Legion and the California Nevada Moose Association. Paul and his family had relocated to Christiansburg, VA. He will be missed by all of those who knew and worked with him.

He was a member of Escondido Lodge #1874, Moose Legion #0049 and received his pilgrim degree on 6/5/2021. During his Moose career he served in a variety of positions in his lodge, Moose Legion and the California Nevada Moose Association. He will be missed by all of those who knew and worked with him.

It is with much sadness that I advise you on the passing of Pilgrim Ronald Fox who passed away on July 6, 2025. He was a member of Bellflower Lodge #796, Moose Legion #0006 and received his pilgrim degree on 6/3/2023. During his Moose career he served in a variety of positions in his lodge, Moose Legion and the California Nevada Moose Association. He will be missed by all of those who knew and worked with him.

Pilgrim passing – Pilgrim Donald Cooley

My Brothers All:

It is with much sadness that I advise you on the passing of Pilgrim Donald Cooley, who we just obtained confirmation of his passing and do not have an actual date. He was originally a member of the Stockdale Lodge and received his pilgrim degree on 6/5/1982. During his Moose career he served in a variety of positions in his lodge, Moose Legion and the California Nevada Moose Association. He will be missed by all of those who knew and worked with him. He and his wife, Barbara Jean had moved to Ripley, TN some years ago to run a business there.

Pilgrim Cooley ‘s passing was confirmed by Pilgrim Donald Perry and Brother Chris Myers-Mainland – members of the Stockdale Moose lodge. Pilgrim Tom Esser provided this information to me on 3/4/25. Please remember Pilgrim Donald and the family in your prayers and thoughts at this time.

Pilgrim passing – Pilgrim Vince Sabean

My Brothers All:

It is with much sadness that I advise you on the passing of Pilgrim Vince Sabean who passed away on 2/17/2025. He was a member of Modesto Lodge #1608, Moose Legion #0174 and received his pilgrim degree on 5/6/2021. During his Moose career he served in a variety of positions in his lodge, Moose Legion and the California Nevada Moose Association. He will be missed by all of those who knew and worked with him. He was the administrator of the Modesto lodge for a number of years.

Additional information – His wife, Mary, preceded him in death as she passed away on August 31, 2024.

Pilgrim passing – Robert ‘Bob’ Burns

My Brothers All:

It is with much sadness that I advise you on the passing of Pilgrim Robert ‘Bob’ Burns who passed away on 2/4/2025. He was a member of Ebbetts Pass Lodge #1123, Moose Legion #0174 and received his pilgrim degree on 5/30/2015. During his Moose career he served in a variety of positions in his lodge, Moose Legion and the California Nevada Moose Association. He will be missed by all of those who knew and worked with him. He had moved to Oxford, Mississippi some years ago.

Additional information – His life partner, Della Reese, preceded him in death by two weeks prior to his passing.
