Introduction to the Moose Degrees

The Moose Degrees are a cherished tradition within the Loyal Order of Moose and Women of the Moose, representing a journey of service, leadership, and commitment to our fraternal values. Each degree honors members who go above and beyond in supporting Mooseheart, Moosehaven, and their local lodges and chapters.

 

What Are the Degrees? The Degrees are honorary levels of recognition that celebrate a member’s contributions and encourage continued involvement. They are not just titles, they’re symbols of dedication, earned through volunteerism, leadership, and support of our core missions.

 

For Men:

  • Moose Legion: The Degree of Service, recognizing those who support Mooseheart and Moosehaven through special projects and events.
  • Fellowship Degree: Awarded to Moose Legionnaires who demonstrate outstanding leadership and commitment.
  • Pilgrim Degree: The highest honor, reserved for those who exemplify the spirit and values of the Moose in extraordinary ways.

 

For Women:

  • Academy of Friendship: The first step in the Women of the Moose higher degrees, recognizing friendship and support.
  • Star Recorder: Honoring excellence in record-keeping and chapter service.
  • College of Regents: Celebrating distinguished leadership and dedication to the chapter’s success.
