This is to provide an update on the health of Pilgrim Joe Rigazio that I sent out a notice earlier this week on his being in the hospital. Glad to report that he is home now after they got the internal bleeding stopped and a third pint of blood. The bleeding was caused by a ruptured ulcer on his intestine that was broken during the recent fall he took off of a ladder at home. He is waiting to meet with the neurosurgeon to see what they will do to make needed repairs on the spine. A notice will be sent when the current situation is resolved there.

Please keep Pilgrim Joseph and his wife, Bobbi in your thoughts and prayers now. Thanks.

Pilgrim Chris Lubbers of the Fresno lodge went on vacation to Hawaii with his wife, Cheri in September. He spent all but three days in a hospital to repair a broken heel and in a cast then. They also had to treat him for his ongoing heart and kidney issues. They got home and Chris was back in the hospital in Fresno again for some time. He is home now with Home Care Service and home dialysis.
There is a memorial service for Past Association President James Adams at the Fresno lodge on 10/23. Chris was selected to serve on the team earlier before his health changed but says that he will still do his part from a wheelchair. Please no phone calls, but cards may be sent to him at his home address that is: 1845 E. Brandywine Lane   Fresno, CA 93720.
Pilgrim Milt McGinnis: Milt is now happy to be home after spending five days in the hospital again after a relapse due to his ongoing internal health issues. He was unhappy to have missed the reception and dinner for our new Association President Joseph Henderson in Placerville on 10/15. Milt and his family do want to thank everyone for the cards and prayers sent for him. We all wish him good health now.

This is to provide a health update on a special person – Pilgrim Milt McGinnis who has been recovering at home from a major internal operation. He is doing well in his physical recovery per the family – getting some in home rehab and walking around the house and enjoying the patio. However, knowing Milt’s dedication to the moose – he is in need of talking to others about what is going on now in the moose these days.

He would like to receive some phone calls to discuss present and future moose events. You can call him on his cell # -707-249-2436. Since he probably will be getting a few calls, please try to keep the time reasonable. The present goal is for him to recover well enough to attend the September convention in Sparks, NV at the Nugget.

The family extends their thanks for the many cards he has received – please send cards if you wish to do so. The address is: 901 Carolina Street Vallejo, CA 94590-5527. Thanks to all for your continued support of this program.

A health update: Pilgrim Carl Murphy became very ill while at the Sonora Lodge for their Pilgrim Conferral event that honored new Pilgrim Jack Fussell on 7/23/22. He was transported by air ambulance to an area hospital on 7/24/22 where they performed major surgery on his stomach area. The doctors will be closely observing this operation to be sure there are no further internal issues. Pilgrim Carl will be there for a number of days before returning to his home and family.
