We are busy getting ready for the California/ Nevada (CA/NV) Mid Year Conference and Academy of Friendship Session which will be held March 22nd through 25th, 2012 at the Atlantis Casino Resort and Spa in Reno, Nevada.

Our official visitor for the conference is the Women of the Moose Grand Chancellor, Barbara McPherson and Bellflower Chapter #789 will be our Hostess Chapter. All chapters should be making plans to attend the conference so they can earn the Award of Achievement.

We plan on keeping our Conferral Coordinator, Charlene Mead busy. She will lead the Academy of Friendship Conferral conducted by the CA/NV Conferral Team and we just may have our first new Ritual Competition! If you need more information, contact Charlene at charlenemead@myway.com.

Jeanette’s Resume

Jeanette Ruiz joined El Monte Chapter #1321 in March 1986. She has served her chapter in many capacities and is currently serving as Secretary/Treasurer. She also joined Simi Valley Chapter #1959 in March 2011.

Her accomplishments are:

  • Chaplain - El Monte Ritual Team 1999-2007

Jeanette and her husband Robert reside in El Monte, CA. They have one daughter Ana Lisa and have two grandkids Albert and Genevieve.
