TAKE THE “I DIDN’T KNOW!” OUT OF THEIR VOCABULARY”
Time to take the ‘I didn’t know” out of members vocabulary. Keep them informed by all means possible. If we looked at our goals of obtaining success within our lodges, chapters and legions, are we taking advantage of all of our resources? In most cases NO! Take a look at your lodge bulletin. . . what do you see? Is it full of activities scheduled to happen? Is it interesting to look at and read? Do we have posters on the lodge bulletin boards showing fun things happening? In many cases, you could ask yourself several questions and the answer would be NO! Publications such as letters, flyers, posters and the lodge bulletin and even now websites are a must to get the word out to the membership! If they do not see one of the items, maybe, just maybe another means will catch their eye and remind them to be at the function. Promoting an event in all manners possible can improve the outcome. Don’t let the members get caught up in the I would have attended if I had known! If you need help, contact the CNMA Publications Committee.

HELP IN DEVELOPING A WINNING BULLETIN
The following information could be used by bulletin editors in developing a successful and award winning bulletin. Remember, a bulletin should be top notch all months, not just the three months for judging. A good looking bulletin with well presented information is more likely to be read by the members. Make your bulletin interesting month by month for success!

How Do I Get That Article or Picture In The Moose Magazine!
Moose Magazine is the official publication of Moose International, distributed to all members of the Loyal Order of Moose and available to all members of the Women of the Moose. The magazine depends on news contributions from Lodges. Thus, Lodges, through their Publications Chairman, are encouraged to send information and photos of important events pertaining to or occurring in the Lodge. Color photo prints are strongly preferred (no Polaroid's; no digitally submitted photos). Identify persons, left to right, in photograph and include titles of all officers shown. DO NOT write on back of photos! (When stacked, the ink goes onto photo underneath & ruins it!)
Complete the form each time you submit details of your Lodge news event to be published in Moose Magazine.
The information listed below will provide facts for a story which the editors of Moose Magazine will write. Publications Chairmen who desire to write their own story should include
the information listed below. Also, submit newspaper clippings, programs, etc., to insure full coverage of the story.
We invite you to print out and copy this form; keep a supply on hand.
Please realize that Moose Magazine receives many story submissions; it may be several months before your information appears. Moose Magazine’s editors can not guarantee your story will run, and we reserve the right to decline any submittals. UPDATED Click: Printable Instructions/Submittal Form PDF
Don’t forget to make extra copies to use for future submittals Let’s Get California/Nevada Moose Recognized In The Moose Magazine!
